How to create a DIY tree stump side project.
- Tree trunk or large log (cut to size) - 4 metal legs, one with a lock
- Drill (https://www.worx.com/de-DE/Burstenlos.aspx)
- Sanders, sanding block or sand paper
- Clear polyurethane
Start by prepping the tree stump. Cut it down to size with a chainsaw. Remove any excess bark as desired. Pick a stump that is the right shape, size and color for your space. Sand down the sides or edges as desired for your preferred aesthetic.
Once the log has been prepped to your liking (size, shape and surface), place a coat of clear polyurethane over the log for a smooth finish. Let dry.
Flip over the log, bottom side up and line up and mark where you would like your casters on the bottom of the log. Pre-drill holes for the 4 metal legs if needed.
Screw the 4 metal legs in place and your project is complete!
We are sure you will love your new stump side!
Try straight away and have fun!
