f your new year’s resolutions for 2015 were to spend more time on DIY projects for your home this article will definitely be a must read for you. Tired of your old kitchen cabinets? Who sais you have to spend a fortune on new furniture when a new fresh coat of paint will just do the trick! Before you start painting, make sure to follow our brilliant instructions:
1. When painting the doors use a painting pyramid. It's an ingenious yet inexpensive tool which will prop up your doors so you can apply paint to one side and flip it over without waiting for the first to dry.
2. If your cabinets include drawers, mark or number each one so that you know immediately where they fit.
3.Use acrylic enamel paint: water-base paints are low-fume and clean up easily with just water.
4. Don't be afraid to dare with color. You can choose different tones, not necessarily the same ones as the wall or base cabinets. Experiment!
5. Prime the cabinets before sanding (if they are already painted). Then repaint. The primer is more suitable for sanding.
We hope you found these tips useful, have fun with painting :)
